Penda Nguni vs Tauno Laurikko

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 21/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the WRBO Youth Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Penda Nguni (11 - 0) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Tauno Laurikko(9 - 4 - 3) from Tampere, Finland.  Nguni weighed in at 226 pounds and 5 ounces, while Laurikko weighed in at 238 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tavon Wanga, and the three ringside judges are Paul Kithuka, Paul Kithuka and Sam Yiampoy.
