Anton Sukosyan vs Sasha Markoff

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Dynamo Palace of Sports, Moscow,  taking place on 11/07/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight are the Eastern Europe Super Lightweight and Russia Super Lightweight titles.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Rossiya 2, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Anton Sukosyan (10(2) - 0) who hails from Omsk, Russia and Sasha Markoff(11 - 2(1)) from Chelyabinsk, Russia.  Both Sukosyan and Markoff weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vikenti Levitsky, and the three ringside judges are Kolya Polyansky, Fedor Rodin and Aleksei Kulemin.  

Round 1: 

Sukosyan tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sukosyan steps away from his opponent.  Sukosyan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Markoff hits home with a hard jab.  Markoff throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Sukosyan steps away from his opponent.  Markoff attempts to land a jab, but Sukosyan slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Markoff advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Sukosyan on the ropes.  Markoff lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Markoff hits the target with a hard jab.  
Markoff gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Sukosyan parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Markoff closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Sukosyan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sukosyan connects with a right hook.  
Sukosyan steps to the outside.  Sukosyan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Markoff recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Sukosyan hits home with a potent cross.  MARKOFF WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Markoff steps to the outside.  Sukosyan senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Markoff and just needs the right shot.  Sukosyan lands a mean right hook.  MARKOFF HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Markoff now seems to have got his legs back.  
Sukosyan lands a left hook to the body followed by two jab's to the head.  
Markoff gets on the inside.  Sukosyan pivots to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Sukosyan throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sukosyan lands a spiteful jab.

Markoff quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sukosyan attempts to land a cross, but Markoff sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.
