Charles Ormond vs Zach Caudell

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 04/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Charles Ormond (2 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Zach Caudell(4 - 1 - 2) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Ormond and Caudell weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Giorgio Lombardo, and the three ringside judges are Corey Pait, Oliver Mullane and Ian Rabb.  

Round 1: 

Ormond lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Caudell advances into close range.  Ormond sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Caudell.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
