Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Rooq Gym, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 30/04/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Waqar Rahaim (0 - 0) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Waqar Amber(1 - 4 - 1) from Shah Alam, Malaysia.  Rahaim weighed in at 147 pounds, while Amber weighed in at 146 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Mohammed, and the three ringside judges are Jawad Bangura, Haider Amir and Syed Kamel.  

Round 1:

Rahaim lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  Rahaim ties up his opponent.  Rahaim pushes his forearm into Amber's face.  The referee warns Rahaim and breaks the clinch.  
Rahaim advances into close range.  Rahaim quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Rahaim pivots to the left of his opponent.  Amber throws a right uppercut, but Rahaim holds on to his opponent.  Rahaim is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Amber pushes his forearm into Rahaim's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Amber.

Rahaim closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.

Rahaim sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Rahaim steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Amber advances into close range.  Rahaim hits home with a right hook.  
Rahaim steps inside and drives a right uppercut into Amber's ribs.  
Rahaim closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Amber closes the distance.  As Rahaim tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Amber dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Rahaim is on target with a left uppercut.  
Rahaim lands a left hook.  
Rahaim closes the distance and walks his opponent into the red corner.  Rahaim lands two right hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Rahaim gets on the inside.  Rahaim lands a right uppercut.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rahaim dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Amber steps inside.  Rahaim connects with a left hook.
