Kosmosr Anania vs Oceanus Samaras

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Greece-Attica promoted show at Athens Barlas, Athens,  taking place on 21/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Greece Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ERT1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kosmosr Anania (8 - 5 - 1) who hails from Athens, Greece and Oceanus Samaras(3 - 4 - 2) from Athens, Greece.  Both Anania and Samaras weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Priam Spanos, and the three ringside judges are Anatoli Mates, Korudon Katsaros and Telephus Boulos.  

Round 1: 

Samaras tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Samaras pivots to the side of his opponent.  Samaras attempts to land a jab, but Anania slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
