Joaquin Davila vs Franco Poma

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Guatemala-Guatemala promoted show at Rodrigo Veliz Gym, Guatemala City,  taking place on 21/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Guatemala Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on El Súper Canal, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joaquin Davila (4 - 1 - 2) who hails from Guatemala City, Guatemala and Franco Poma(4 - 1 - 3) from Guatemala City, Guatemala.  Davila weighed in at 153 pounds and 8 ounces, while Poma weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Onofre Toro, and the three ringside judges are Jax Leano, Joaquin Zea and Jose Garcia.
