Alen Gowans vs Robert Hemple

Boxing Daily Report from the Ace Boxing promoted show at Colin Duffy Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 18/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Alen Gowans (3 - 0 - 2) who hails from London, UK and Robert Hemple(6 - 1 - 2) from London, UK.  Gowans weighed in at 146 pounds And 5 ounces, while Hemple weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Griffith Batton, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Gillespie, Dale Carrick and Clinton Birney.

Hemple gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  Hemple clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Hemple pushes his forearm into Gowans's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
