Vijay Kapoor vs Iwao Jin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at ACROS Arena Hall, Fukuoka,  taking place on 23/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vijay Kapoor (12(7) - 0) who hails from Nagpur, India and Iwao Jin(7 - 4 - 1) from Kawaguchi, Japan.  Both Kapoor and Jin weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Akira Umemoto, and the three ringside judges are Nao Kuse, Eiji Ban and Satoshi Shinsato.  

Round 1: 

Kapoor advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Kapoor holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kapoor pushes his forearm into Jin's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Jin steps away from his opponent.  Kapoor lands a cross followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Kapoor hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Kapoor forces Jin to retreat onto the ropes.  Kapoor digs in a left hook to Jin's body.  
Kapoor lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Kapoor lands two right hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS JIN TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Jin recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Kapoor walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Kapoor lands a right uppercut.

Kapoor manages to force Jin into the corner.  Jin could be stopped here, if Kapoor can find the right shot!  Kapoor slams a nasty right hook into his opponents body.  JIN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Kapoor!
