Haaris Lone vs Arjuna Thaosen

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex Boxing Arena, Pune,  taking place on 01/06/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Haaris Lone (9(7) - 5 - 1) who hails from Chennai, India and Arjuna Thaosen(6 - 6(1) - 3) from Ahmedabad, India.  Both Lone and Thaosen weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hassan Hares, and the three ringside judges are Farhan Diab, Shayan Haque and Lochan Vijay.  

Round 1: 

Lone lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lone throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Lone ties up his opponent.  Lone is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lone throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Lone hits home with a left hook.  Lone holds on to his opponent.  Lone pushes his forearm into Thaosen's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lone to stop fouling.  
Lone lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Lone holds on to his opponent.  Lone is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Lone tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Thaosen behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lone lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  Lone ties up his opponent.  Lone leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Lone uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Thaosen behind the head.

Lone quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Thaosen forces Lone to retreat onto the ropes.  Thaosen pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Lone steps inside.  Thaosen throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Lone lands a left hook.  
Lone advances into close range and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Lone clinches his opponent.  Lone leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lone lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  Lone ties up his opponent.  Lone is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Lone pushes his forearm into Thaosen's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lone to stop fouling.
