Patrick McClaren vs Steven Sloan

Boxing Daily Report from the Kalungi Promotions promoted show at Dublin Higgins, Dublin,  taking place on 22/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Patrick McClaren (11 - 3) who hails from Drogheda, Ireland and Steven Sloan(8 - 4 - 2) from Drogheda, Ireland.  McClaren weighed in at 236 pounds and 5 ounces, while Sloan weighed in at 242 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fionn Donnell, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Rafferty, Michael Sloan and Anthony McNeeley.  

Round 1: 

McClaren closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.
