Ming Wu vs Isamu Fukuda

Boxing Daily Report from the Paintsil Promotions promoted show at Muya Gym, Matsudo,  taking place on 23/05/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ming Wu (5 - 0) who hails from Xian, China and Isamu Fukuda(0 - 4 - 2) from Saitama, Japan.  Both Wu and Fukuda weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yoshi Oh, and the three ringside judges are Daiki Fujimura, Yoshi Oh and Kazuhiko Sakaguchi.  

Round 1: 

Fukuda pivots from in front of his opponent.  Wu attempts to land a left uppercut, but Fukuda sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Wu throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Wu lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Wu lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fukuda throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Fukuda is on target with a left hook.  
Wu gets on the inside and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Wu pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Wu sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.

Wu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  Wu wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fukuda dabs at his face checking for damage.
