Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Western Australia promoted show at Perth Litvin, Perth,  taking place on 23/05/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kian John (10 - 5 - 3) who hails from Perth, Australia and Mike Bell(10 - 5 - 2) from Canberra, Australia.  John weighed in at 117 pounds and 11 ounces, while Bell weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tobias Morton, and the three ringside judges are Jack Swavely, Chris Vaughn and Fraser Trimble.  

Round 1: 

Bell walks John down, trapping him in a corner.  John throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
John steps inside.  Bell lands a left hook.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as John dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to John.  That has caused damage to the nose.

John throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
