Kenji Ban vs Keiichi Sugihara

Boxing Daily Report from the Lampi Promotions promoted show at Sapporo Convention Center Mid-Sized Hall, Sapporo,  taking place on 23/05/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kenji Ban (9 - 0 - 2) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Keiichi Sugihara(10 - 2 - 2) from Matsudo, Japan.  Both Ban and Sugihara weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eiji Tanabe, and the three ringside judges are Isamu Hara, Raiden Takamoto and Eiji Aoki.
