Arnie Gillis vs John Vasconcelos

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Stramler Park, Bakersfield,  taking place on 28/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Arnie Gillis (3 - 0) who hails from Fremont, USA and John Vasconcelos(6 - 5 - 3) from Phoenix, USA.  Gillis weighed in at 107 pounds and 9 ounces, while Vasconcelos weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cris Garcia, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Waldie, Billy Gracie and Patrick Barro.
