Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 15/06/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Oceania Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sammy The Brisbane Bomber Wight (12(6) - 0) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and John Ryan(11(2) - 3 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Wight weighed in at 112 pounds, while Ryan weighed in at 111 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Gowan, and the three ringside judges are Mel Culp, Mark Taggert and Sammy Feamster.
