Isamu Kikuchi vs Kei Nishihara

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 31/05/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TBS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Isamu Kikuchi (12 - 1) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Kei Nishihara(14 - 0) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Kikuchi and Nishihara weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisao Yamane, and the three ringside judges are Hideki Ishibashi, Dai Ishikawa and Eiji Mizuno.
