Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at First Avenue, Minneapolis,  taking place on 22/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Paul Barrie (1 - 2 - 2) who hails from Cedar Rapids, USA and Nicandro Astudillo(0 - 8 - 2) from Ontario, USA.  Barrie weighed in at 147 pounds, while Astudillo weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Langer, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Cullen, Charlie Genz and David Scholar.
