Luis Sanchez vs Haider Abdou

Boxing Daily Report from the Baddog promoted show at Royal York Hotel, Toronto,  taking place on 28/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luis Sanchez (13(6) - 0) who hails from Celaya, Mexico and Haider Abdou(10 - 3 - 2) from Houston, USA.  Both Sanchez and Abdou weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Callum Berry, and the three ringside judges are Nick Nicolson, Josh Watson and Danny Bour.  

Round 1: 

Sanchez steps inside and drives a right uppercut into Abdou's ribs.

He then lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS ABDOU SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Abdou now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
