Kaede Okabe vs Kenji Shiro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at Fukuoka Noda, Fukuoka,  taking place on 24/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kaede Okabe (8 - 5) who hails from Asahikawa, Japan and Kenji Shiro(10 - 3) from Kurume, Japan.  Both Okabe and Shiro weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Shinsato, and the three ringside judges are Akira Nishimura, Hisao Sone and Aki Nishimoto.  

Round 1: 

Shiro gets on the inside.  Shiro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Okabe switches the action to the outside.  Shiro is on target with an overhand left.  Shiro attempts to land a cross, but Okabe sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
