Rodrigo Cancel vs Jaguar Lona

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Tafoya, Mexico City,  taking place on 26/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Distrito Federal Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Cancel (10 - 6) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Jaguar Lona(6 - 4 - 7) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Cancel weighed in at 243 pounds and 10 ounces, while Lona weighed in at 231 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ponce Lugo, and the three ringside judges are Jesus Fermin, Rodrigo Landaverde and Rodrigo Parras.  

Round 1: 

Cancel steps to the outside and throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
