Xayvion Shimpande vs Alec Matonka

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson promoted show at Edwin Imboela Stadium, Lusaka,  taking place on 01/07/2024:

Clearly Kit Henderson have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Zambia-Lusaka Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xayvion Shimpande (6 - 5 - 3) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Alec Matonka(13 - 2) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Shimpande weighed in at 139 pounds And 13 ounces, while Matonka weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Uba Mwikuta, and the three ringside judges are Ibeamaka Urbano, Uba Mwikuta and Kwamin Sichinga.
