Louis Muepu vs Laken Chikunga

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Popcocks Indoor Sports Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 07/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the South Africa Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SuperSport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Louis Muepu (14 - 0) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Laken Chikunga(11 - 2 - 2) from Umlazi, South Africa.  Both Muepu and Chikunga weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Siphelele Nhlapo, and the three ringside judges are Isaac Chohan, Quaddus Rascalimu and Vince Van Deventer.
