Kwamin Mwamba vs Nuru Mombelela

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson promoted show at Chris Beenzu Gym, Kitwe,  taking place on 20/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Kwamin Mwamba (2 - 3) who hails from Kitwe, Zambia and Nuru Mombelela(3 - 9 - 2) from Kitwe, Zambia.  Both Mwamba and Mombelela weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lavaughn Chitundu, and the three ringside judges are Faraji Jobe, Kwau Ndovi and Kyan Lisulo.  

Round 1: 

Mwamba is on target with a cross.

That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Mombelela.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
