Jawad Sadiq vs Amer Almasri

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Basaten Youth Centre, Cairo,  taking place on 27/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Egypt-Cairo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jawad Sadiq (10 - 3 - 2) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Amer Almasri(6 - 7 - 2) from Cairo, Egypt.  Sadiq weighed in at 125 pounds and 7 ounces, while Almasri weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Majid Zadeh, and the three ringside judges are Kamran Samra, Waleed Ashraf and Amer Deen.
