Diego Vela vs Alejandro Tierno

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Ciudad del Este Baro, Ciudad del Este,  taking place on 17/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Paraguay Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Tigo Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Vela (16 - 1) who hails from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay and Alejandro Tierno(7 - 2 - 1) from Capiata, Paraguay.  Both Vela and Tierno weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isidro Mandes, and the three ringside judges are Isidro Mandes, Fresco Cuaresma and Santiago Verdejo.
