Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Maharashtra promoted show at Mumbai Punnaiah, Mumbai,  taking place on 30/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Maharashtra Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Haaris Hamidi (11 - 3 - 3) who hails from Mumbai, India and Sukhinder Basu(10 - 7 - 1) from Pune, India.  Hamidi weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces, while Basu weighed in at 146 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Haque, and the three ringside judges are Rajat Patil, Rehman Sharifi and Farhan Diab.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Hamidi has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
