Arseni Chaplinski vs Boris Gurkin

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbalula Promotions promoted show at Nizhny Tagil Kristoff, Nizhny Tagil,  taking place on 30/05/2024:

Clearly Mbalula Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Russia-Sverdlovsk Oblast Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Russia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arseni Chaplinski (8 - 3 - 2) who hails from Yekaterinburg, Russia and Boris Gurkin(3 - 4 - 1) from Yekaterinburg, Russia.  Both Chaplinski and Gurkin weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Valeri Slutzky, and the three ringside judges are Vasili Orlovsky, Vasili Orlovsky and Dmitriy Volkonsky.
