Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at RJM Gym, Cambridge,  taking place on 04/05/2024:

Clearly RJM Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Cristoforo Makris (0 - 0) who hails from Thessaloniki, Greece and Selim Babaoglu(0 - 3) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Makris weighed in at 115 pounds, while Babaoglu weighed in at 114 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bryan Ferguson, and the three ringside judges are Oscar Madden, Paul McCowen and Rob Heriot.

Babaoglu wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Makris has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Makris quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.

Makris steps inside.  Makris connects with a left hook.  As Babaoglu tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Makris has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.

Makris throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Babaoglu to the neutral corner.  He tells Makris he will lose a point if he continues to foul.
