Waleed Abbas vs Waleed Alturk

Boxing Daily Report from the Douna Promotions promoted show at Jeddah Akram, Jeddah,  taking place on 31/05/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Saudi Arabia-West Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waleed Abbas (10(2) - 0) who hails from Taif, Saudi Arabia and Waleed Alturk(10(2) - 3 - 2) from Medina, Saudi Arabia.  Abbas weighed in at 146 pounds And 15 ounces, while Alturk weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Basa, and the three ringside judges are Aftab Abourizk, Danyaal Negein and Ibrahim Hamidi.
