Mondli Lakay vs Sajid Barghouti

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Popcocks Indoor Sports Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 05/07/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SuperSport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mondli Lakay (14(1) - 1) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Sajid Barghouti(11 - 5) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Lakay weighed in at 199 pounds and 7 ounces, while Barghouti weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Khuzwayo, and the three ringside judges are Roos Van der Linde, Ubanwa Koranteng and Justus De Vries.
