Salvador Lua vs Jose Avelino

Boxing Daily Report from the Sahaghyan Promotions promoted show at Madrid Bejarano, Madrid,  taking place on 01/06/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Marca TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Salvador Lua (3 - 10 - 3) who hails from Madrid, Spain and Jose Avelino(10 - 2) from Seville, Spain.  Lua weighed in at 153 pounds and 11 ounces, while Avelino weighed in at 153 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vegas Zara, and the three ringside judges are Diego Ledezma, Ignado Salome and Angel Cobos.  

Round 1: 

Lua steps inside.  Avelino lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
