David Connell vs Dave McCaa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Utah promoted show at Richie Akins Gym, Salt Lake City,  taking place on 02/06/2024:

Clearly AI USA-Utah have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Connell (12 - 1) who hails from Provo, USA and Dave McCaa(9 - 1 - 1) from Salt Lake City, USA.  Both Connell and McCaa weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kian Ord, and the three ringside judges are Justin Lloyd, John Egerton and Lucas Magorian.  

Round 1: 

McCaa gets on the inside.  Connell pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.

McCaa steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Connell dabs at his face checking for damage.
