Iskander Emirler vs Arda Bakkal

Boxing Daily Report from the Chikwalakwala Promotions promoted show at Izmir Akburch, Izmir,  taking place on 13/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Turkey-Izmir Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Iskander Emirler (7 - 0) who hails from Izmir, Turkey and Arda Bakkal(4 - 2 - 3) from Izmir, Turkey.  Both Emirler and Bakkal weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Emin Saylan, and the three ringside judges are Ozgur Elci, Iskander Bulut and Omer Babacan.  

Round 1: 

Emirler connects with a right hook.  Emirler clinches his opponent.  Emirler tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bakkal behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
