George Patera vs Danyaal Masood

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Kasarani indoor arena, Nairobi,  taking place on 17/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are George Patera (7 - 0) who hails from Piraeus, Greece and Danyaal Masood(0 - 0) from Athi River, Kenya.  Both Patera and Masood weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is LeBron Naikuni, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Andersson, Joe Mwirichia and Stuart Lone.  

Round 1: 

Patera advances into close range.  Patera pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Masood's ribs.  
Patera quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Masood tries to step out of his opponents range.  Patera is on target with a jab.  
Patera advances into close range.  Patera sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Patera gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Patera sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Masood is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Masood backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Patera steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
