Xhosas Chongwe vs Essien Zimba

Boxing Daily Report from the Daduryan Promotions promoted show at Lusaka Chalwe, Lusaka,  taking place on 03/06/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zambia Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xhosas Chongwe (11 - 1 - 2) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Essien Zimba(7 - 2) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Chongwe weighed in at 108 pounds, while Zimba weighed in at 107 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Mubu, and the three ringside judges are Ludacris Nana, Floyd Mubu and Vandwon Sipalo.
