Oscar Ryan vs Glynn Skene

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arizona promoted show at Paul Maya Gym, Yuma,  taking place on 02/06/2024:

Clearly AI USA-Arizona have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oscar Ryan (9 - 1) who hails from Phoenix, USA and Glynn Skene(9 - 9 - 1) from Tulsa, USA.  Ryan weighed in at 114 pounds and 9 ounces, while Skene weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leighton Halden, and the three ringside judges are Scott Ingram, Ian Stephens and Dale Halliday.  

Round 1: 

Ryan advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Ryan closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Ryan pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Skene switches the action to the outside.  Ryan lands an overhand right.

Ryan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Skene has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Skene is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ryan lands an overhand left.  
Ryan closes the distance.  Ryan backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Skene accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Ryan.
