Ahmet Merich vs Fred Baines

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Count Promotions promoted show at Craven Park Stadium, Hull,  taking place on 25/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ahmet Merich (7 - 0) who hails from Istanbul, Turkey and Fred Baines(5 - 2 - 1) from Sheffield, UK.  Both Merich and Baines weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Taylor, and the three ringside judges are David Fridge, Jamie McNabb and Iain McClure.
