Leon Wayne vs Aaron Kearney

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 26/06/2024:

Clearly Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Setanta Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Wayne (9 - 1 - 2) who hails from Oxford, UK and Aaron Kearney(6 - 7 - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  Wayne weighed in at 154 pounds, while Kearney weighed in at 153 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul MacKenna, and the three ringside judges are Brandon Madigan, Sam McCaig and Steven Stewart.  

Round 1: 

Wayne connects with a left uppercut.
