Ethan Friel vs Acelin Paley

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Frank Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 29/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Ethan Friel (4(1) - 0) who hails from Bradford, UK and Acelin Paley(3 - 3) from Paris, France.  Friel weighed in at 214 pounds and 6 ounces, while Paley weighed in at 239 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Collins, and the three ringside judges are Floyd Sayer, Ronald McCauley and John McBride.  

Round 1: 

Paley advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but Friel ties up his opponent.  Paley uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Friel behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Paley to stop fouling.  
Friel drives a firm left hook into Paley's ribs.  
Friel sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a stinging left hook into Paley's body.  
Friel digs in a firm left hook to Paley's liver.  
Friel lands a left hook.  
Friel is looking to close the distance.  Friel lands a left hook.  As Paley tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Friel dabs at his face checking for damage.
