Leo Gray vs Jack Killin

Boxing Daily Report from the AL Promotions promoted show at Maples Pavillion, San Francisco,  taking place on 28/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Leo Gray (13(11) - 0) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Jack Killin(7 - 0 - 1) from Charleston, USA.  Gray weighed in at 147 pounds, while Killin weighed in at 146 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cris Villagomez, and the three ringside judges are John Malpass, Rob Prichard and Sam Leamon.  

Round 1: 

Gray gets on the inside.  Gray pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Gray pivots to the right of his opponent and lands with a sharp jab.  
Gray backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Killin accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Gray.  Killin hits home with a sharp cross.

Killin throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Gray lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Killin closes the distance.  Gray lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Killin throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Killin attempts to land a right hook, but Gray slips the shot and counters with a SAVAGE cross.  KILLIN IS HURT!  Killin recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Gray lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Killin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Gray lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Gray lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Killin now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
