Seferino Abad vs Carlos Ventura

Boxing Daily Report from the Lokodo Promotions promoted show at Seville Carias, Seville,  taking place on 17/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Spain-Basque Country Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Seferino Abad (8 - 3(1) - 3) who hails from Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain and Carlos Ventura(5 - 6 - 3) from Bilbao, Spain.  Abad weighed in at 146 pounds And 13 ounces, while Ventura weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yago Arquilla, and the three ringside judges are Fraco Maximo, Rodrigo Avalos and Manuel Castilleja.  

Round 1: 

Ventura connects with a cross.

Abad gets on the inside.  Ventura sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Abad's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Ventura's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Abad advances into close range.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ventura dabs at his face checking for damage.  Ventura has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Abad advances into close range and connects with a right hook.  
Ventura steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Abad accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Ventura.  
Abad finds the target with a jab.  
Abad hits home with a cross.
