Rob Duggan vs Leighton Goar

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Vodafone Event Centre, Auckland,  taking place on 14/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Asia-Oceania Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rob Duggan (14(4) - 3(1)) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Leighton Goar(13 - 5(2)) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Duggan and Goar weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aaron Glendinning, and the three ringside judges are Dale Mostyn, Henry Edmonston and Hani Rarere.  

Round 1: 

Duggan is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to Goar's ribs.
