Ellis Ritchie vs Danny Briden

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 31/05/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ellis Ritchie (6 - 0) who hails from El Paso, USA and Danny Briden(2 - 1 - 3) from Nashville, USA.  Both Ritchie and Briden weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Corfield, and the three ringside judges are James Crum, Orlando Merlin and Andy Saenz.  

Round 1: 

Ritchie hits home with a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Briden dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ritchie switches the action to the outside and hits home with a hard jab.
