Erik Hultgren vs Svante Zengin

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Aarhus,  taking place on 08/06/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Erik Hultgren (5 - 0) who hails from Stockholm, Sweden and Svante Zengin(6 - 9 - 1) from Stockholm, Sweden.  Both Hultgren and Zengin weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sven Grand, and the three ringside judges are Quinby Bornhoft, Odo Juergensen and Carolus Helgesen.  

Round 1: 

Zengin pivots to the left of his opponent.  Hultgren lands a left hook to the body followed by two straights to the head.  
Hultgren cuts off the ring, trapping Zengin in the corner.  Hultgren digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Hultgren hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Hultgren lands a right hook.  
Hultgren lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Hultgren tries to land a right hook, but Zengin slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Zengin manages to force Hultgren onto the ropes.  Hultgren lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hultgren sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a firm left hook.  
Zengin retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Hultgren is whaling away with hooks, but Zengin keeps his defence tight.  Hultgren lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Hultgren digs in a left uppercut to Zengin's ribs.  
Hultgren lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zengin's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Hultgren digs in a right hook to Zengin's body.  Hultgren clinches his opponent.  Hultgren throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hultgren.  
Hultgren is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Hultgren is on target with a right hook.  Hultgren ties up his opponent.  Hultgren pushes his forearm into Zengin's face.  The ref breaks Hultgren's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hultgren lands a firm cross.  
Hultgren closes the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Hultgren ties up his opponent.  Hultgren is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hultgren to stop fouling.  
Hultgren is on target with a right hook.  
Hultgren closes the distance.  Hultgren lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hultgren dabs at his face checking for damage.

Zengin throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Hultgren to the neutral corner.  He warns Zengin that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.
