Dong-jun Koh vs Kaede Sasaki

Boxing Daily Report from the Carabetian Promotions promoted show at Kyoto ICC, Kyoto,  taking place on 21/06/2024:

Clearly Carabetian Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dong-jun Koh (5 - 0) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Kaede Sasaki(0 - 3 - 1) from Kobe, Japan.  Koh weighed in at 140 pounds, while Sasaki weighed in at 139 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kei Katayama, and the three ringside judges are Daiki Sasaki, Hikaru Kawaguchi and Kazuki Matsuzaki.  

Round 1:

Koh is looking to close the distance.  Koh sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Koh goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Sasaki to the neutral corner.  He tells Koh he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
Sasaki tries to keep the action at long range.  Koh lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Koh walks Sasaki down, trapping him in the corner.  Koh feints a jab, and then lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Koh closes the distance.  Koh connects with a solid right hook.  Koh attempts to land a left hook, but Sasaki sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Koh gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Sasaki's ribcage.
