Haider Samy vs Waqar Ekramy

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Port Said promoted show at Port Said Rizk, Port Said,  taking place on 13/06/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Northern African Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Haider Samy (9(1) - 0) who hails from Suez, Egypt and Waqar Ekramy(9 - 2) from Port Said, Egypt.  Samy weighed in at 112 pounds, while Ekramy weighed in at 111 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Gomaa, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Henedi, Zafa Sharif and Waqas Arida.
