Neil Valentine vs Paul Graham

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Maison de la culture, Gaineau,  taking place on 15/06/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Neil Valentine (4 - 1(1)) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Paul Graham(5 - 3 - 4) from London, Canada.  Valentine weighed in at 118 pounds, while Graham weighed in at 117 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michael Oliver, and the three ringside judges are Paris Clarin, Bruce Hathorne and James Dunlap.  

Round 1: 

Valentine digs in a left hook to Graham's body.  
Valentine pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Valentine lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Valentine advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Valentine closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.

Valentine steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  Valentine holds on to his opponent.  Valentine is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Valentine to stop fouling.  
Graham goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Valentine time to recover.
