Asavela Nonyane vs Okapi Mombeshora

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Hartsfield Rugby Grounds, Harare,  taking place on 22/06/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Southern African Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Asavela Nonyane (9 - 1) who hails from Umlazi, South Africa and Okapi Mombeshora(15 - 2) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Nonyane weighed in at 129 pounds and 11 ounces, while Mombeshora weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Mubako, and the three ringside judges are Quintavius Mubako, Stephen Mubako and Sammy Mukoneweshuro.
