Edward Kenrick vs Maiope Kaneri

Boxing Daily Report from the T5 Promotions promoted show at T5 Gym, North Shore,  taking place on 24/05/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Edward Kenrick (2 - 0) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Maiope Kaneri(0 - 4) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Kenrick weighed in at 111 pounds and 13 ounces, while Kaneri weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Oakley, and the three ringside judges are Robert Smillie, Rob Horsburgh and Alec Brisbane.  

Round 1: 

Kenrick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.
