Santiago Malagon vs Onofre Cato

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Chile-Valparaiso promoted show at Valparaiso Brion, Valparaiso,  taking place on 15/06/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UCV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Malagon (7 - 3) who hails from Viba del Mar, Chile and Onofre Cato(9 - 4) from Antofagasta, Chile.  Both Malagon and Cato weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roman Castilla, and the three ringside judges are Senon Florin, Miguel Canal and Ovidio Armenta.
